i dont know whether you would be able to help me, but i think i might have a problem with my roland cube 30x. the brit combo, tweed and stack classic lead channels are all much cleaner then the examples of them in this video. are you using any additional effects units, overdrive?

@kristofunk92 I'm not using any additional effects. I record my videos through the line out of the amp. It gives a little bit heavier sound. The sounding depends on the guitar too.

@1994mrkac The sound depends on the guitar and pickups too. For metal you should use humbucker pickups. I think the best metal guitar brands are the Jackson, Ibanez, ESP, LTD. The Squier is a good guitar but i don't know how it sounds with a lot of distortion.

@elldorado1991 A hangzás több mindentől függ, a gitártól is nagyban. Ezt a videót a számítógépre kötve vettem fel, a line out kimenetről, így a felvétel minősége is jobb és a hangzás is egy fokkal "dúsabb". Én legtöbbször a tweed, az r-fier és a dyna-amp módokat használom, a metalt ritkábban.

I have the same. Epiphone + Roland cube 30x. If u play so (as on the video), its not for u. Its hard, its better for shred, its NOT marshal, its loud, its best for these money.

He is either using a pre-amp or the computer soundcard he's connected to is helping him out. The sound isn't that rich with the amp only. I have one. The rectifier setting is pretty full, but the other amp models are not.

Sorry, but I don't like your test. You only used distortion with high gain, except for the acoustic simulator, and it doesn't show the quality and versatility of the Cube 30X. You made a lot of noise with, in my opinion, a bad sounding guitar. There are several other ear-friendly tones in this amp that are really its strengths, combined with the effects (echo, delay, chorus, flanger, tremolo). I'm going to buy one, but not because of the things you showed, for sure ;-)

ROLAND! The Marshall MG series get crushed when compared to the Cubes, The overall tone on the Roland is better, warmer, disttortions better. I own a Mesa Boogie Mark V and still dick around with this amp, its an awesome buy!
