Beautiful. So unlike her other songs--they invoke thoughts of dark forests and Western mysticism, but this is Eastern lore, which is very different and very beautiful.
I'm actually a little proud--the pagan music finally stands up for Easterners. 'Middle East' does not mean 'evil'.
@PinkRangerVida well if you ask some people they consider paganism evil in general. Paganism isn't all that highly thought of in the world unfortunately.
@DruidRobur: Paganisim, Islam, ANY religion--'they came for the Commies, but I was not a Commie, so I stayed silent'. It will end. We've come so far already; we can go farther. We've just got to keep going.
@PinkRangerVida Precisely, people just need to know how to learn about other cultures without judging and with an open mind. We should be trying to understand each other not trying to get rid of the diversity that exists in the world.
@PinkRangerVida But this song has nothing to do with paganisim or any religion for that matter. Caravanserai or more properly Kervansaray were roadside inns and were also a hub of sorts bringing together diverse cultures to trade. It really does get exasperating on how religion is always dragged into Loreenas songs and the pagans seem the most vocal. This is not prejudice but a fact. Loreenas music is world music...not pagan, not the three great faiths or any other such religion.
@spiralhelix88: Yes, but Pagans like worshiping through music. To us, songs like this are prayers. So that's why we talk about it--that, and any New Age artist gets a bunch of dumbasses on the comments trying to tell us about the 'good word'. *eye roll*
@PinkRangerVida We honor the goddess and what she has done for us. We are thankful and we are proud. music is how we express that love and thankfulness. Blessed be :)

Beauty, gaze into my eyes forever, see the wind and hear the sea and in this confusion, always, always love me
