my goldfish got used to the plants the next following day. the silk plants do occupy a lot of space in the tank, but as you can see. it defintely makes the aquarium more pleasant to the eye. gravel defintely makes the clearer, since all the food settle to the bottom of the tank. making the water crystal clear. but you still need to do weekly water changes. i do 50% water changes every saturday. make sure your tank is cycled and keep the nitrate low as possible.

Very nice. Do the fish like such large plants?
Oh and how do you get on with the gravel? I'm thinking about putting gravel in but unsure how it would fit into my weekly water change cycle.

it would gravel makes water clear and gives some decor to your aquarium you may want to use a gravel vac to clean it
