Some are so despicable that people can't believe it and watch them 100.000 times or more. It's amazing what people will do whrn they are shocked and scandalized. USA 0 EU 1 CHINA 1 RUSSIA 1 0= No national Health Care. 1= National Health Care. I live in the UK and I along with everyone else pay into a country wide health care system. If I am out on my motorbike and have a crash, I am taken to the hospital and my broken bones are fixed and I receive superb care and all at no cost to me at the time. The National Health System is treasured by the British. The Doctors and Nurses are loved and respected by the people . The system in the USA is shocking & sad.

the ones who come here(U.S.)are following the myth of the hollywood dream,and upon arriving pluck roses all day, and live 15 in an apartment in NYC. For those few who can pick up the language,then of course they will have a very good chance of improving their lives and send some money home.Having lived now in eastern europe for almost 2 years,the health care is amazing. the doctor actually comes to your house. there is no paperwork or any waiting at the hospital er room.

With the American government running everything else is half assed as they do , would we want them to be in charge of our lives ? fuck no. I'm a combat veteran and was wounded. Canadas system is awful , I have a friend in Thunder bay who had to take his father down to Michigan for a endoscopy. He was vomiting up blood and after a 5 hour wait at the local clinic he was told the soonest they could get him in for the test was like 4 months down the road. The way the government probably saw it , if he dies before hand they dont have to pay for his care.

ER have the right to reject patients without heatlhcards here. Clinics and local doctors are closed on weekends and after 5. The only huge benefit is the cheap drugs.

No I base what I say on facts...My Canadian friends are scared to even travel over here without buying insurance encase they get sick over here.. Hey where do I start....would you rather lose everything you've worked for because you file bankruptcy from illness ?OR would you rather make sure you have your card with you ? @funkyflights What facts? I don't know where you live or where you go to in your canadian lalala land, but here in Ottawa, lots of people are fed up with our system. Lots of the more serious treatments (like heart surgury) can't even be done reliably here.. the PREMIER of Newfoundland flew to the US for treatment! Don't get me wrong, i'm greatful for healthcare and not having to pay for a lot of basic treatments, but it pisses me off when american liberals use our system as some sort of miracle.

@funkyflights Our population is about a tenth of the American population. Socialized healthcare works -to an extent- here. It could never work in Ameria. We enjoy luxiouries like 30-60% income tax, high property tax and 13% sales tax (in ON). All that for a system that demands you carry your healthcard on you, take time off work/school to see a doctor and make sure you NEVER get sick on a holiday or weekend.

Is healthcare availible for everyone? Yes. Is it free? Barely. Is it good? No.

Why couldn't Single payer work in America ? Just because America has more population has no bearing on whether the program can work or not.... There is no reason to not offer a single payer option for families.... private insurance from the very start is immoral because they avoid sick people at all costs because there a money pit to them... If you want all manufacturing to leave the country just keep increasing taxes. Right after the manufactures go we'll lose the entrepreneurs and they'll take all the wealth that they create for society. The principles of sharing the wealth for the greater good did not work very well in Cuba the USSR and numerous other socialist/communist countries.

Forcing companies to provide coverage will drive them out of business. Unemployment will get worse. According to the liberals the poor are ENTITLED to food, shelter, education and healthcare. Why should anyone work?? Obama will give people all of the things that I worked for. No problem. The "RICH" will pay.

There are more people below the poverty line in America than the entire population of Canada- when there's so many people taking in benefits and not paying taxes, you start to rely too much on the upper class. Hey and maybe there are some things in Canada that need reform... BUT dude check the stats on how many Americans lose there homes because of illness and lack of insurance coverage....  How many Canadians filed bankruptcy due to illness last year ? EVERY 90 seconds a family files bankruptcy in the USA because of medical problems!! Over 60 percent of all bankruptcies in the USA are medically related and 3 quarters of them HAVE INSURANCE!... BE HAPPY your Canadian!

It was painful and torture...plus another person ahead of me was a full grown man who was crying in pain, i never want to see a person in so much pain again T_T and have to wait hours just to get triaged!!
