@999muzicfreak it's true. Im waiting for the Nokia N9.. from what i read, it's the successor to the N900. So im saving up for that when it comes out Q1 of 2011. It's gonna bomb on any other phone. Nokia maeks amazing phones. I needed a new phone asap to upgrade from my nokia 5200 so i got the Milestone because i was able to get it for 300 rather than 460 for thet Nokia N900. The N9 will be amazing. I love the N900 but the N9 will be the best! :)

Noah you're a good reviewer. 2 noteworthy firmwsre corrections have helped eg phone dialer pops up when turning n900 vertically and browser works upright too. Ui is different but sooo great. People can read online manual and sites after checking on-screen starter help. Youtube never worked so fast! I'm amazed at everything.

No, the videos play well. You only get little lags lag if you mess around with zoom and scroll or try too high quality videos / superheavy mutltiasking.

It's already got faster with the last firmware update, and the next one is coming soon.

Yes and no, if you pause it at the start and let it load 1/3 the way through then it's smooth, but it still doesn't feel natural.

I never watch youtube vids on it, the experience is nothing like my G1 or iPhone 2g. Youtube on a phone needs its own application.

I have had my nokia n900, and I am extremely happy with it...Fast and Fluid define's the device. Noah, it took me all of half an hour of playing witht he device to get used to it and after that i didnt feel any of these "user friendly problems" after that. I felt it quite easy to pick up... Im not a geek, though i guess im an enthusiest...But still overall, I find it EXTREMELY easy to use...

I can say that youtube plays perfectly on N900. It is clearly optimized for it. Thought other than youtube it's very random that what flash video sites play nicely. Still by far best smartphone flash support i have ever had. All sites look just like they should with flash content opening and not slowing down. One thing to do from settings that i don't understand why Nokia has gone that way is the the default cache is 5mb while you can set it to automatic(that i got) or to be 50mb all the time.
