  • Eventhough it lacks a low gearing, it makes up (for some part) with a very short 1st gear. Unless I'm on a hill or shifting heavy weights... I can drive away in second gear. 1ste is so short that you need to shift up very soon.

  • the new x-trail looks chubby at the rear don't u think?

  • It's less 'slim' than the old Mk1 (which I own and love, great car), but other wise it's hardly changed from the Mk2.

The Mk3 is even more 'up-market' from the earlier ones. Even better than before but not that much to be honest. The Xtrail is the only real choise when you don't want the cost of a 'real' 4x4 but almost the same performance. Very comfy @ long drives.

  • what exactly is the mk?

  • I don't quite understand the question. You mean what 'mk' stands for? If so then the answer is that 'mk' stands for 'mark' (mark 1, mark 2 etc) which means as much 'version'. X-trail version 1, version 2 etc. Does that answer the question?

  • Ooo, ok i get it now, thanks btw...

  • kut bakkje
