I tend to think of Rick as the Prince of Rock 'n Roll with Elvis as the King of Rock 'n Roll. If Rick is a king of anything, he could qualify as a king of ETAs.
I've been seeing Rick at his shows since I was 11 yrs. old.I've seen others on you tube. I still tghink Rick is yhe Best out there. To this day I still see him once or twice a year! YOU GO RICK!
ok im the authority here on Elvis.what i say goes..or else.i will out talk you here period. rick is actually pretty good..voice is good.. as good as eddie miles.not quite like klush..but very good on any given day!.
I disagree, except on the part that it is a trademark move. However moves are not always as important as the voice, plus not every ETA does the Elvis concert era, so it would be pointless to disqualify. To get more technical, Elvis sang this song from '69 through '75. The moves pretty much died out by '74 with Elvis' health declining. Also, not many know, but Rick suffered a knee injury a number of years ago and had to eliminate certain moves from his routine as a precaution.
if I had to make a list of 10 best ETA's Eddie Miles would be on it, but to say Rick and Shawn don't come close?? Your watching one of the Original tribute artist here, still performing today.dont be a hater man, all these guys do a great job!!!
Eddie Miles leaves Klush in the dust and Rick in the shit. Sorry, but Eddie Miles is head, shoulder and collar above all these guys. Rick needs to diet, but his bass player is extrordinary!
Ron is a great bass player, he's been playing with Rick for 35 years. As for Shawn Klush, no one leaves him in the dust, except Doug Church has a better voice, I think. After watching his videos, I'll take Rick or Shawn anyday over Eddie...he's not that good overall.
While I will say they all have tremendous talent and a true gift. I wish I sounded evenly remotely as close to Elvis as any of these guys do. I also agree that Rick and Doug sound just a bit more like the real thing than Eddie does. Kudos to all!
yeah, actually half-way through the show i noticed i was recording it reversed by accident. I thought it was interesting so I kept recording and thought it was different, so i kept it, also it looks better with rick facing the audience on the right instead of the left...not to mention this just happens to be a great version.
Considering the fact Rick is a Virtuosa on Guitar, Piano, Bass, Sitar and drums, He is very knowlegable in music theroy. Rick is the most talented eta ever.
Fantastic!

If you can't do the stretch to Suspicous Minds that should automatically disqualify you as a ETA. That was Elvis' trademark to this song!!!!!
