Whats funny is that REAL fighting has nothing to do with "live contct sparring!" LOL But, maybe we should all quit jumping rope too.. Since of course we cant post videos of us pulling that off in a (live sparring match) with a capable partner.. Or maybe pushups, that would be a boring Vid! I should keep kettlebell training though! That would be an interesting Vid. against a capable partner! Thank you for awakening us all....
I'm sorry I'm not farmiliar with the 3 stages or the emptyness twords liberty reference so I appoligieze about that. I was refering to the speed and smoothness in a fight. Adrenilin dump is why people lose fine motor coordination and that happens in fights BUT you can train to not let that happen. Rick is a Sifu in wing chun and they drill you to stay calm in a fight. Thats the reason trapping works for them. I'm not out to make enemys here I just want to see that respect is observed thats all.
Dude Go check out the demo vid he did in atlantic city. When the student attacked it wasn't all simbrada which is a preset drill. The student was just attacking with what ever technique and Tucci responded with what ever was appropreate. As far as growing up I have 24 years martial arts training in. How grown up do I have to be? How many years to YOU have in? I don't want to come across as disrespectful but I'm not a novice so don't talk to me like I am one.
The question isn't IF the question is is the student smart and fast enough to to go with it and not resist and get hurt. I have been on the other end of a drill with Rick and his speed and control are AS impresive as you see here. YES he is THAT FAST and THAT SMOOTH!!!!!
