Thanks for the touching story, Tony.......also, thanks for showing us that even though we CAN'T change the world every day, we CAN change a life for a day.
I admire Tony much for what he did! Most preachers tell us to never put ourselves in that situation because of the implications it can have, & the way it might look to others. Tony puts himself out there for people, regardless of how it looks. That one act of love & kindness can change a life. Makes me take a long look at myself & ask if I would have done the same thing? Not sure I like the answer I get! Thanks Tony 4 reminding us what it means 2 love as God intends us to!
I have a hard time just being quiet and listening too and always wonder if it's my selfishness that I'm hearing. Mark, I agree with how you obviously feel about the moving on part-that can be the hardest. I'm having to learn to let go and truly put the results in God's hands, even when my own future and calling are at stake. Yes, God can use us wherever we are, but if we are where He wants us to be He can use us most, anything else is second best.
