This was a popular gag in the 1920s and 30s.

Look carefully at the tires, all but flat.

The wheels are very large for its size.

But, the dead giveaway is how it sways between 2 points.

the way that thing stays upright is the tires are just there to make it look like its perfctly balanced... but there are 2 rollers on each side that are about 1 foot appart inside the tire... and the tires are just there to hide the rollers and do not hold any air... my grandfather built a (foo mobil) that was just a 1 person cupe and he would never tell me how it stayed up like that but after he passed away i got to tear the thing appart and thats what i found..

@scoobytunner Yes Me & and a buddy seen a car at Portland Indiana show we tipped it some when the operator was gone and discovered what you found the 2 rollers bulging in the airless tire I bet they got the idea from a tandem axle trailer with no springs on it. because a freind had one and it would sstay up level.
