i personally think this is one of the best Freddy films, i don't see why so many fans dislike it. It was the last "darker" Freddy before he became more humorous in parts 3 onwards.

Freddy aside, this movie is clearly about one man's struggle with his homosexuality. Rewatch the movie with this perspective in mind. Freddy, or a metaphor for the lead actor's sexuality, is something he's trying to constantly fight. I think the lead actor was also gay. Pretty awesome!

this movie really wasn't as bad as people tend to beilive. It wasn't horrible, and was essentialy another example of what could happen in a nightmare on elmstreet type circumsatnce.
