At the zoo Molly was a mother to all the orphaned baby animals. I'm putting together a slide presentation of her mothering bears, cougar, deer and other animals. There was a fallow deer that was with her since birth and that deer just loved Molly. The deer would wimper when she was behing a fence and couldn't get near her. I never heard a deer make such a sound.
At the zoo we had Molly who was great with the animals and Annie, a Bernese Mountain Dog, who was great with people.
That's unusual. The Great Pyrenees was actually bred to defend livestock from wolves and bears. I had a Great Pyrenees mix that was the runt of the litter (still a big dog when full grown) and the last puppy to go. She spent her first weeks with sheep and/or goats. I believe she would have defended one even as a full grown dog, many years later, if placed in that situation. Maybe Bing and Molly will forge a livelong friendship and Molly would protect Bing, if necessary? Interesting.

I don't think that's a great pyrenees cause the darkest color I've seen on one is a very light tan it might be a mix though
