  • I like this. Simple dinner recipe for when I am lazy

  • Nameste... 21stcenturyFood..I've enjoyed watching you cook on several of your video's and I will be making some of your other recipes. You made me smile when you sampled your cabbage sandwich...Nameste

  • All those seasonings seem like a great way to get people who aren't into 'healthy' food or 'raw' food to follow along while you have it... and to also provide some variety if you already are a raw foodist. Thanks for the advice and recipe!!!

  • thats A LOT of seasoning for half a head of cabbage

  • loved it up till the point you pulled out a loaf of bread ,,at least make a roti

  • @couchpotato43 : whats wrong with bread? roti takes time to make (unless you have batch at hand) and if you want something quick - improvise :)

  • @couchpotato43 : improvising! Roti takes a little time to make so if you want a quick snack, bread is handy. :)

  • thank you for sharing this recipe. I'll try to cook cabbage this way and I'll let you know how it goes ^^

  • no onion or garlic?

  • @GrowingMyBrain : You can add those if you like. The spices, seeds and the use of Asafoetida bring out the natural fresh flavour of the cabbage and red peppers. Experiment to your own tastes :)

  • impressive use of spice, and timing. I cant wait to taste this!

  • Great idea....thanks!

  • Very Nice.***

  • This is wonderful! I had a cabbage waiting to be used in the fridge and wasn't sure what to make. I googled vegetarian cabbage and found this. This is one of the best Indian style recipes I have made. I'm eating it now...as a sandwich and side!

  • @jensnoztree : Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

  • Great job! I can't wait to cook this, thank you.

  • Well done sir! Nice voice too. I posted this wonderful how to cooking video at Naturally Yours Blog today, thus promoting your channel. Thanks. Soon we'll be doing our own videos.

  • That looks so good!!! I can't wait to try it!! Thank you for sharing it!

  • It's so easy to attack vegans. They are like innocent babies.

When i am doing a large t bone steak on the barby, i always think of them so some reason.

I once thought about being a vegan, then i realised i like killing and eating meat.

  • I love this recipe! I have made this many times and it's very good. Have served it as a side dish to homemade veggie burgers and like you said, it's very good as a sandwich. Thanks for this recipe! Yum.

  • Great! :) So glad you are enjoying it and also awesome you like it in a sandwich too.

  • indian english??? ha it is not english, it's finglish or gebrish, this ppl beat the english realy badly. i don't get a word out of indian english, do you?

  • no probs... glad you enjoy it - sharing is what one of the things we're all here to do :)

  • Naw, I'll eat it on rice. Thanks!

  • Try it.. you could fill this inside a wrap with fresh avocado, some sprouted fresh mung beans or alfalfa sprouts and some chopped spring (green) onions and some fresh corriander (cilantro) :)

  • that looks so good. I wonder what the nutritional counts are?

  • Well, very healthy for you and tasty! In terms of actual precise nutrition , I haven't had it analysed to find out the percentage of stuff - but it's low fat, plant based, no cholestrol, sodium levels - you can add how much of that you wish. The herbs and warm spices will be beneficial to your body - as they will heal from inside (according to Ayurveda - which now western science is finally starting to acknowledge and credit and get 'on the band wagon about') :)

  • thanks a lot!
