Trust me you get big hits at least once or twice a game and it hurts. I play at colts level and just a few months ago i broke my collarobne. Rugby is the greatest sport american football sucks. And look at mike tindall i tackle and hes got an inch long tear in his liver, a punctured lung and serious internal bleeding. Thats why this game rules.

I play american football and the pads do not protect you from feeling pain, i guess they do a little but its so you dont injure yourself. rugby players get a FEW big hits but football games get them every game...We have to get up and take them all day, not one a season

A lot of these tackles look like hockey bodychecks. I am Canadian and played hockey for 12 years and rugby for 8. I would say many are not considered withing the laws of rugby, since there has to be an attempt to wrap.

This is rugby league, where shoulder charges are legal as long as contact is made below the shoulders. That wrap rule only applies to rugby union. Only reason i know is because i play both
