  • There was/is something totally 'cool' about Andy Williams.

This and "A Fool Never Learns" are excellent examples of the primo pop music that came out of that era.

  • Sad it was so short. It was an excellent video otherwise.

  • He has sung this thousands of times and continues to sing today!

  • @catholicpriest1 Yes, this is just cool ... He does a christmas show this year, too: I love them, too!

  • @beagle, agreeed on the tempo and the key, but compared to some of the other live clips of him doing this song, , he really inhabits this version... the dynamic range and control he covers is stunning, and the transition is so smooth its almost shocking when he hits it. Gives me new found appreciation for his craft. Way cool.

anyone know when and where this performance was?

  • @norumba Not sure, but I think, Royal Albert Hall 1978...

  • wooossshhh one of the greatest ferfomer!!

  • Hmm.. Strange hearing it at such a slow tempo and in a different (higher) key. OK, though, even if it is only HALF of the song.

  • WOW!! How honored I feel to be the FIRST person commenting on this unbelievably beautiful song!! I was 3 when this song came out!! I used to love this song. I'd listen to it over and over! Oh, and by the way Andy...you are STILL a hottie!! So so beautiful!! I woke up the other day with this very song in my heart! I hadn't heard it in so many years!! Thanks for posting!!
