Just to think, I was under the illusion homo milk was an entirely different substance! I have had it many times, and it is pretty much as jonnya2 described it - sort of a salty buttermilk and bleach taste. I had no idea it was just homogenized milk!

Bahaha! Yeah, homogenized (homo) milk is the same thing as whole milk / 3% milk. Also, I have never in my life heard a Caesar called a "Bloody Caesar". I'm thinking that must be some American influence happening there, because a Caesar is similar to a Bloody Mary, but with Clamato juice instead of tomato juice. Also, if you ever get one, get a gin Caesar instead (a Caesar is normally made with vodka). So much better!

Homo milk is just short form for Homogenized Milk. Milk often is homogenized, a treatment which prevents a cream layer from separating out of the milk. The milk is pumped at high pressures through very narrow tubes, breaking up the fat globules through turbulence and cavitation... what ever the fuck that means. LOL
