  • this was shot ON THE SET of the movie with Rhys Millen driving. He did a lot of the stunt driving in the 2005 movie. nothing from this footage or this "ride" was used in the movie, but this car was filmed in movie scenes a few minutes later... this is the car that did many of the drifting scenes.

  • Whats the clicking noises? Gravel i'm guessing.... Sounds different on camera i suppose.

  • 6 pilice off Hazzard don´t like boys xD

  • I don't like the police ;D

  • this is the ending race

  • @MrSdwarner this was just driving froim base camp to where they filmed scenes for the final race.

  • How many chargers did the movie go through

  • @mamasita102 I wouldn't mind, I hate my mom. :P

  • whats with that grant wheel and hurst shifter?

  • I can verify that that is a genuine General Lee that was used in the movie. This was a "test" run on the back roads, but some of driving from this was mixed into the movie, since it was good. By the way, at the start of the movie, only ONE General Lee had a Dixie horn. It was taken off by the Transportation Dept. due to EVERYONE honking it. It was put on the Go-Car stunt car, driven by stunt driver Kevin Scott (who NEVER honked it). So there :)

  • I know someone in my town with that dixie horn! they had a general lee look alike.

  • I've got a Dixie horn..Their is a local guy has a 80s Model 4X4 Chevy truck...jacked up and its painted like the General...flags numbers and everything...even the horn!

  • You guys want to trash those mopars?? If so bring them both to me.I will get both of them from you."YES" the Duster to

  • Well, personally, I can't say that it was "drifting in a General Lee," I only saw the INSIDE of the car. And, big, have to agree, it is pretty stupid.

  • reality check....

REAL General Lees (excluding Lee 02 from the series) didnt have a dixie horn in them, unless it was fan added.) And yes.. that was legendary drivr Rhys Millen driving Lee #005 on the movie set in this video.

  • If I cant see the car, then I won't believe it. just a normal car.

  • u can tell by the dash that car is a 68 69 dodge charger

  • The dash in a 68 comes to a point in the middle and a 69 dose not its straight.

  • Normal car? at .32 you can see the passenger has his hand on the padded rollcage & at .45you can hear the NZ accent of Millen, son of the reknown Pikes Peak champ! Clearly genuine footage from a movie GL!

  • They should have done something to MAKE me believe it was the General Lee. Aside from that, its not DRIFTING, its DRIVING...BIG DIFFERENCE. It still sucks.

  • It is a General Lee. Pause at 31 secs and you can see a hint of orange on the side. Plus, that is a Charger dash with a custom shifter and I remember seeing the Duster in the movie.

  • That was stupid. He didn't honk the horn one time !

  • Lucky stiff!! What an awesome ride that was! Thanks for the video.

  • This is how I drive to work everyday..

  • you are so lucky
