you don't teach someone zembekiko....it just comes to you when you hear the music. in the video it looks likethey are attempting to dance a version of hassapiko
the teacher has no idea from zembekiko dance. its obvious from the way he is snapping his fingers. at best he is a bouzouki player improvising steps. mercy
And yes, we had 400 years enslavement, but we stood up, faced all the troubles, didn't forget who we are, and returned even stronger, and look what you have done 70 millions of you, comparing with just 10 millions of us..Nothing much, ha?
You are not that usefull to humanity, i haven't heard many turkish great doctors, writers, politicians (but wait, you don't even know what democracy means..) etc.
Hey Buddy When you are born in another country nobody teaches you and nobody is born to dance it takes work I wish I had somebody to teach me.This video is not from Greece you come to Greece You will master the dance Give props to those trying to learn don't ever stop Dancing

It started from Asia Minor man, then trasfered to Thrace and gradually to mainland Greece. It is a war dance just as the Pyrrichios Dance from the Pontic Greeks.
only the Greeks could establish such dances to express their sadness and their constant involvement to war.
The fact that you own Asia Minor and you learned the dance just us we learned from you the tsifteteli is a bilateral relationship the two nations have since the 13th century.
@muhtaraga yes, are one dance from Turkish but only greek people have the true talent to dance the tradicional zeibekiko ! And the greek zeibekika musics are so wonderfull and famous not only inside Greece around all the world in all greek comunities . This is just my comment, my opinion !

I agree with whoever says that greek dancing is something you can't teach.
It's something you have inside, and a couple of drinks should b enough to bring it out :)
