cool....That is my dream. I have my traildragger rating, used to fly a Pacer, not much for a bush plane but keeps you on you toes. Someday.

i saw a maule and my favorite the cessna 206 (not a tailwheel) in the video also - i love the mccall area but im stuck in the flatlands of illinois for a few years - im from sawtooth wilderness area and try to get up to mccall to see the ice sculpture every year

I grew up in the Idaho backcountry. We used to groom Johnson Creek airstrip using only our snowmobiles. That was so our mail plane flown by Ray Arnold could land on skis. One of the other airstrips in this video looks like Big Creek. Alot of pilots crash there every year.

I lived in McCall '71, '72, '73. I love central and north central Idaho. Was that airstrip the Warrens airstrip?

nope. wilson bar and root ranch. no scenes from big creek that I could see.

Awsome!!! I like to fly these strips in Flight Simulator 9. I'd love to visit them for real sometime. Prob'ly the most beautiful country in the world.
