  • There are so many changes in color, he must have thought and worked extremely hard on and about this piece

    Thanks for posting = D

  • RIP Maestro. I'll continue learning from you.

  • R.I.P. Maestro.

  • RIP Mr. Suk...

  • organ really is a lovely compliment to the violin lead.

  • Абсолютно лучшя интерпретация !!! Тронет сердце каждого !!!

  • Лучшая версия ! Божественно !!!

  • Beautiful!

  • I listened to Oistrakh's, Heifetz's, Francescatti's, and Sarah Chang's Vitali Chaconna. They are all outstanding. Still, I found Josef Suk's most beautiful, soulful, and introspective, and least showy.

  • phenomenal!

    reminds me of francescatti

  • @sijas To me reminds more Grumiaux´s recording from this piece

  • great job!!!Tolle Musiker!!!

  • Sure there are a lot of brilliant violinists on other videos here but this version of Vitali's Ciacona I love best of all. May be excellent Mr Suk accompained by organ sounds more tragic and rich. Thank you very much for posting!

  • @famallabitur

the nicest version for me is from Jasha Heifetz. Josef Suk plays very well, but it sounds to me too slowly.

  • @famallabitur Check out Heifetz's recording, he is also accompanied by an organist and IMO his interpretation is the most moving and exciting one I've ever heard.

  • @AbsoluteZ3R0 Yes, you're right!! Heifetz' performance is chillingly amazing. In my opinion, no one can beat it.

  • Thanks.

  • Very beautiful. Great Suk!

There are good pictures in this video.

    Thank you!
