iPod Touch with camera - Its still likely!

@StylerGameplay Look at the upload date, everyone may know that now but they were unsure back then after the update. And of coarse I used pics from ifixit, did you think I was going to make them myself? Its called using a source.

people here don't really understand marketing, apple doesn't want to give the ipod touch a camera because they want people to buy iphones, they're more expensive and and apple gets a cut of at&t phone bills, why would they EVER want to give the ipod touch a camera? that's basically killing the market for iphones!

@shadownite45 I agree, although a camera still would not give it an ability to make calls, send regular SMS text messages, or connect to a 3G network for internet on the move. If they added it to the iPod Nano, then why not the Touch? In no way does putting a camera on it kill the market for the iPhone, because the iPod touch is NOT a phone, camera or otherwise. Also apple said they are shipping 'thousands of facetime devices' this year; therefore not limiting it to the iPhone 4.

@mvkVirtual yes, but when they give the ipod a camera they just nixed a difference between it and an iphone, and they like having all these cool new gadgets when you upgrade to the iphone 3, then the iphone 4, then whatever else they make

@shadownite45 Which is exactly why the iPhones market stays separate, because the iPhone, bar its actual phone features and 3G connectivity, is always one step ahead in other features compared to the iPod line. (e.g. retina display, new camera, gyroscope, A4 processor etc.)

The Ipod Touch with camera is cumin out next Spring. They are also gunna make camera attachments for the old Ipods with out the camera! I cant wait 4 the new 1! ^__^

The information in this video was valid at time of release, but now it appears that even if this is true, we will NOT be seeing an iPod Touch with a camera at least until the next September music event.

hey, great vid. Where did you get your background wallpaper from? i love it lol. If they decide to put a camera on the 4th gen ipod touch, then thats just more things to go wrong. Maybe we should just all buy iphones lol.

Yup. I think they should think more about what they are getting themselves into with the iPhones and all. But presumably the next gen iPhone will have much better camera and stuff; so the cam on the touch will be allot worse. So they could be being very cleaver and sneaky behind scenes. I will pm the wallpaper!
