Peru invaded Ecuador and occupied this territory with the help of the US petroleum companies and with the blessing of the US government. Because the Ecuadorian government did not allow US petroleum companies the sole ownership of this natural resource. Peru anexed this Ecuadorian territory and allowed the US petroleum companies in.
As always what motivates US corporations is profits, they do not care about a 3rd world country or it people. When do they learn?? being the backyard of the USA
