haha thats not true. We roast the lamb whole with the head on. Just shove the spit right through. But i dont think there is a way to do it with an apple in its mouth. lol

my advice is not to put an apple in its mouth :)

seriously, you have to remove the head to roast the lamb on a spit. the best advice i can give is to make sure the fire is very hot and burns consistently. don't let the embers die down. good luck!

first what you need is a baby lamb anywhere from 19 to 23 lbs

second this is not how you set it up, legs are cut off and prepared nicely. this may I am doing a lamb roast and will post a video how its done.
