  • hey, i wanted to ask you...do you have any ideas for a setup, i have a very small area to work in and i would like to keep adding on to my shop but i have a hard time trying to do that with the car in the garge do you have any ideas?

    thank you:)

  • @Friendsofthefruits Well its hard to give specific advice without seeing your shop and your tools. But there are lots of resources for setting up small shops. I think Fine Woodworking even has a few specific articles on small shop setups and many of the magazine put out a special "Shop" edition. Also be sure to check out the Shop Tours section of our website. Lots of great ideas there.

  • @TheWoodWhisperer well thank you for the help:)

by the way love the videos and keep up the great work:)

  • i have finally found a legend in woodworking! yay

thanks man for all ur effort and vids

    very much appreciated

  • How the hell is that a tempoary shop, so many people would kill for that much space, or as the guy below me said cut of their left bollock. Bar David Marks that is one of the largest shops i have ever seen, you should see the size of my tiny shop. Love the rest of your videos though LOL.

  • omg marc i know that this is only your temp shop till your new one is built and i can appreciate how difficult it must be for you, having to be shoe horned into this small space, sod off you lucky so & so, id give my left bollock for a space that big and organised, lol

  • Nice! One question though. Is G.I. Joe a sponsor? :)

    Kidding. :)

  • Haha, how cool would that be. Dr Pepper, Sonic, and Circle K are also NOT sponsors. :)

  • I've been a subscriber for about a year now. The videos are always informative and Mark's one of the finest carpenter's out there after Norm. Haha. I like that you went into detail about your electrical set up. Imagine that?

  • Nice shop, live in Baja Sur and Im a part time wood worker, nice tools, lot of space, saludos desde bahia asuncion

  • I have discovered your channel like a week ago, and i am now a huuuge fan of yours! I have always loved woodworking but never done furniture. I another video I saw you switched from biotech to this amazing art. I am really considering to do the same, but still a very long path to trace. Keep feeding our imagination pal!

5 stars to all videos i saw from you!

  • hey thanks man. Very much appreciated!

  • nice shop, im working slowly on building mine out of a 2 car garage, and feel cramped.

    I definitely have tool envy

  • there is something special about being able to through open the bay doors and have your work benches under windows that just bring that much more joy in to your wood working.

  • ...and don't forget the drum set..

  • Jealous of the space AND all the toys. nice vid.

  • your absolutely correct ! all woodworkers need as much workspace as they can possibly get.

i work in a cramped space of 10ft x 14 ft . and while i do manage to get projects done, i have to be honest in saying that my lack of proper workspace is beginning to restrict what i can, and cannot do :(

i would kill to have the space you have , but then again, im not a full-time woodworker and i realise you need a bigger place for yourself.

what was wrong with the old shop?

  • I hear ya man. Nothing at all wrong with the old shop. We had to move for other reasons and shop is the side effect of moving. :)

  • Congrats on the move and on another amazing shop. Looking forward to new projects

  • nice

  • Nice!
