Yes, indeed! This was recorded before Roberta Flack's monster hit version. The original was by Lori Lieberman

of which this version is an almost exact replica! For me it's a 3 way tie as to which is the best; the original by Lori Lieberman, this great follow up version by Anne, or the version by Perry Como.

Roberta Flack may have had the hit, but these earlier version are, to me, much better!
