These recordings really do come across much better than his often a little too rigid hyperion versions. His playing style very much reminds me of Ginzburg.. He also has great hair!

The ancestor, with "Les Jeux d'eau à la Villa d'Este" of the Ravel's Jeux d'Eau... Liszt was the first impressionist ^_^'

What a superb performance of an incredible work. Howard would have to be the all time greatest exponent and Liszt performers of all time. Currently there is no one with the sensitivity, virtuosity and deep understanding to play this music.
