you dont need to do the shield part. You can set it up with just 3 players, two with infinite ammo and peach. You just need to shoot for a long time and after i think 9 turnip things itll be a "black hole" that traps and damages you when you go into it.

you don't really need player 3 and 4. just use ice climbers instead of ness. if they both have a super scope, it will fire twice as many. if you're good enough, you can get it going pretty fast

Another cool thing to do is have a fox, after just coming back to life, fall down to below black hole, then jump back up and down+b. It will make him permenantly stuck in the air shielding, causing lightning damage to everyone. And also, if you have link, throw peach into the lightning'd fox, and both of them will be stuck. Link posing with a throw, and peach stuck in a throw.

I've done this cheat! IT'S AWESOME! It also works on any level with platforms across from each other with a gap in between. (Battlefield and the Yoshi Level are good examples.) have fun with it.

i tried this glitch with pokeballs instead of turntips... it doest work but in 30 secs the pokeballs will fall at the same time and a lot of pokemon will be summoned at the same time....really awesome

i did it using only peach and 2 foxes last night no 4th player. it was very complicated and i had to make fox and peach shoot infinite and then i had to get fox to roll and block the shots after a bit.then i made peach stop shooting once it was done and went below the castle and added the turnips and then jumped over the black hole and attacked the other fox to finish

ill try and vid it sometime when i figure out how to lol.
