It's the only song with lyrics featured in Detachment. I have known and considered Ray my favorite songwriter for years and it was a pure wonder to see one of his songs in this movie that I so appreciated and to have the director acknowledge his talent by putting this particular song on the soundtrack because it fits so perfectly well the topic of the movie.

This man is a musical wonder. I am so glad I discovered his music today. Every song I have heard him sing is absolutely incredible. Kind of reminds me a little bit of Van Morrison in his style and sound although he does sound a little clearer in his voice than Van is sometimes. Van Morrison has been a favorite of mine for many years. Good luck Ray and thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us. God speed my friend.
