Also I wanted to ask if you tried eating the Amanitas and recycling your urine for the Mind Altering affects. I'm getting into the old drug religions, and trying to find a way to get back to the basics. I was wondering if this type of conscious alterations can help in the process of learning. Beautiful. Also interesting to see the immature Amanita cut in half. It was a little harder to see the inner structure than I thought it would be, but maybe it doesn't come through as visible on video as it does in real life? First time seeing the yellow version of muscaria too. Everywhere else has pictures of the red ones only for the most part.

I took Fly Agaric mushrooms once and had a complete freak out, I didn't know where I was, I was highly confused and felt like it was melting into the floor... I can remember saying "So this is how Jimi Hendrix must have felt" in an attempt to describe what I was experiencing. I don't think I would take them again after that haha...

i don't the latin name of the shrooms we get out here in cali.their white stems brownish orange caps with little gold flakes all over stem an caps.friends an i have always called um goldschlagers.they last a good five to six hours.when i was younger i would eat a quater ounce now just an eighth.tea always seemed to have better visuals.

From where I come, older people who like to gather mushrooms say that you shouldn't pick mushrooms, but rather cut them at the base with a knife, so that more of them would grow. Do you think that is true?

@wyvern175same area, by gently picking them, and it doesn't seem to harm them from coming up the next year. Most of the bulk of the mushroom is under ground, and isn't harmed by picking, although it wouldn't hurt to cut them with a knife. Some mushrooms you need to pick the whole thing, in order to correctly key them out. So I recommend for beginners to pick the whole thing. I plan on doing another video to answer these questions.

@wakeangel2001 I think that each mushroom can have a lot of variety in the levels of intoxicants. Temperature, rainfall, etc effects the power of each. It might be good to try a small amount before going for a full experience. Please be respectful and be thoughtful when considering this fungi!

I prefer psilocybes.

It's easy to find psilocybes spots. Just look for a field with cows.

You can eat just fresh Psilocybes, or dry them to add even more fermentation so they're better but you have to know the right process cause you might add bad fungus. The season begins... yummy ;)

Amanita muscaria must NOT be eaten fresh but you have to cook them, like in water, to pull out some very bad toxins.

Whatever strange images you saw in that mushroom were programmed into your mind by evolution. We see images in things all the time because we are by nature pattern seeking animals. Faces are important for us socially so our minds fill in the blanks through our intuitive reasoning. I’m not sure exactly what it is you saw in that “Phallus Impudicus” because all I saw was a mushroom, lol.. Nevertheless, we don’t need a creator with a sense of humor because natural processes did it. = )
