We're sort of bombarded by the illusion that all the pieces of our lives are supposed to fall into place in our 20's; that we're supposed to become successful etc. during that decade. It's hard to realize that for many of us, we're still just getting started as we approach 30...

As someone who just left their 20s I would have to advise you to live YOUR 20s as if they are the LAST years of your life. Be adventurous, step out of the box and do things you wouldn't normally do, be a big ho (safely of course), weed through to find your most honest and loyal friends, and most of all enjoy it while it lasts cuz it will be over before you realize it! <3 =o)

Wow....20....2 decades. Ive been thinking a lot of my 20th year and how much I liked it. I was in school and loving the people I was in school with.....The music of that period was fantastic. All in all a pretty good time. I just wish I would've had more sex. So, yeh, thats what my advice is....have more sex. Use condoms, mind you....but have more sex.

I lived through those 10 years between 20 and 30 as if I was 20 all the time. Still do. Don't believe the hype. After you've become fully conscious of the world around you, nothing ever changes anymore. That is, your perception doesn't. Of course you can learn and get better at stuff and meet new people, but that isn't limited to this period either. So yeah. Just live! And, for your sake, I hope you've lost the 'rawr' thing by the time you're 30 ;-)

Personally, I've found that I regret things that I did MUCH less than things I didn't do. Take every opportunity.
