to the standart 4/4 beat you add - same as the dirty dutch people - on the sixteenth notes 4, 7, 12 and 15 an additional deep drum... I try to do the same on my tracks but it doesn't seem so deep and salsalike, you know what i mean? which sample do you use and how do you eq it?

those nice noise sweeps, they sound very polished, did you use the same method of a tutorial you made months ago? And do you use mastering suite comb in reason to get the levels right? (all your works sound good, like the commercial ones) maybe you could do a tutorial for general mastering, cause if you use just reason, well i'm impressed :D

as far as mastering goes, I didnt use any mastering suite on this track, i only used the mixer for the mix, It has not been mastered yet, i'm assuming the label will do it before its released

I don't understand why everyone comments on how amazing it is to do this in Reason. Not to bash you luckydate, you are a true artisan of sound, but I don't get why people consider Reason to be sub-par compared to other sequencers. Reason is just as powerful as anything else, and if you have any knowledge of how hardware synths and effects look like, it's not very hard to get into. To finish off, I'd like to say that the remix itself is very impressive, catchy and danceable. Take care.

i make trance and a little house on the side.

the only thing reason sucks at is sample manipulation. i don't know why it lets you chop up a midi but it won't let you chop up a sample like every other DAW does. but regardless, theres ways around it like using redrum sampler or the nn-xt. it's definitely not self explanatory though.

everything else, reason is 10x better than any other prog out there for sound manip / generation.
