When I first learned the song I played it exactly as wriitten. Through time I kinda came up with some variations and this was the end result. Its very similar to the original through. That's the cool thing about playing to charts(Jazz, Latin etc),their all open to interpretation. I also recorded this chart with a band not the minus one cd. The more of these charts we recorded the more they began to differ from the original.They became more of a blueprint.I hope this answers your question.
