But really, the major criminals in the category of ripping off people in need is the American Red Cross. They exist to exploit and cultivate tragic events. Someone should do a full exposure piece on this totally corrupt NPO.

Things did dissolve into memes after awhile, but we never stopped educating people walking by and handing out flyers. I think we kinda fell into memes because it was mostly only the scifags in the building who could hear us, and nothing we could have said about them was going to phase them, so we just had fun with it.
Yeah, I agree completely. We weren't being obnoxious while there were people around (easy to say when the temp was -44 with windchill, at least when I left). When people showed up we put on our serious faces and handed out fliers and informed.
