I'm a bit dumbfounded that NO police action was taken, and to be honest I'm a bit skeptical. Was an incident report ever filed by the police? If the county police refused to taken action, then the state police should have been called. If the state police also refused to take action, then a request for a federal investigation should have been made. It is clear that the vehicle stuck you, so regardless a civil lawsuit should have been filed immediately against the driver.
@1775novten Some police action was taken. They identified the guy, and say they will cite him. He was NOT arrested, which would typically be done in the case of a hit and run, especially when it is intentional. They have told us what he has been cited with, but it will be something minor where he just pays a fine and never even faces a judge.

Apparently PSP believes he should have stopped to help his victim after intentionally hitting him, but didn't care that the intentional hit was assault on any level, particularly intent to commit bodily harm. They also violated him on unsafe speed. They could tell that from the video, but not the intentional steering into Steve to hit him. Are we surprised? Hardly.

I'm a bit dumbfounded that NO police action was taken, and to be honest I'm a bit skeptical. Was an incident report ever filed by the police? If the county police refused to taken action, then the state police should have been called. If the state police also refused to take action, then a request for a federal investigation should have been made. It is clear that the vehicle stuck you, so regardless a civil lawsuit should have been filed immediately against the driver.

@1775novten Some police action was taken. They identified the guy, and say they will cite him. He was NOT arrested, which would typically be done in the case of a hit and run, especially when it is intentional. They have told us what he has been cited with, but it will be something minor where he just pays a fine and never even faces a judge.

For those who doubt if the car really hit, look at about 0:18, you'll see the passenger side rear view mirror is folded in. At 0:17, you can clearly see it is folded out.
I would recommend a good lawyer. They can't shoot there if you own the place.

@CaptainAmericaDude Mr. Campbell was issued several minor traffic citations. One of them was failure to render aid. Apparently PSP believes he should have stopped to help his victim after intentionally hitting him, but didn't care that the intentional hit was assault on any level, particularly intent to commit bodily harm. They also violated him on unsafe speed. They could tell that from the video, but not the intentional steering into Steve to hit him. Are we surprised? Hardly.

UPDATE ON THIS CASE:
The driver of the vehicle was NOT arrested. The driver was NOT asked to submit to a test of his blood alcohol level. So far there are NO charges. The Pennsylvania state police claim there is an ongoing investigation. We will update this video, and/or will post another when appropriate.

@dale3858 The issue with that is, they protect their own. Even going to the state attorney general is basically a waste of time, as he'd refer it back to the county DA who, as we all know, is funded by the bird killers. It needs media attention, and we're working on that.
We clearly saw how the local PA court works when they barely slapped the hand of Olsen who pulled a gun on Steve and Janet after he assaulted Janet who, by the way, was fined for some bogus complaint. Crime is king in PA.

@DFinPA So far the driver has not been identified (although the cops know who he is), nor was he arrested or as far as we know even charged. We predict that at worst he will receive a minor ticket that won't even require a court appearance. This is "justice" in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Berks County District Attorney John Adams accepts campaign donations from the shooters, and he will do anything for them.
