I ride there all the time. 5-10 mph over and you'll be fine.

sorry .. but I do not understand ( MPG)? I'm from europe and i do not use miles or something like that . please can you write all the words? tell me if Kawasaki Versys is a endurance bike? and is comfortable? I want to buy a Versys, but I'm not sure if it's a good bike for long trips

Maybe a bit late, but "1 mile per gallon = 0.425143707 kilometers per liter" ... so, 60 mpg = 25 km/l ... or around 4 liter per 100 km

Conclusion, with his driving-style, the versys' values will be between 4 and 4.5 l / 100km ;-)

I don't ride very hard so I am probably not the best to judge by but I have gotten as high as 60 mpg and average around 57 mpg.

I should have been more informative. MPG stands for miles per gallon and the conversion chart I used said that 59 miles per gallon is equal to 25 kilometers per liter. As far as how the Versys is on long trip I can only speak for myself again. I have spent as long as four hours on the bike at one time and it did not punish me. There is a Versys forum where you can read all day on the posts for the Versys.

Cool man. I have a red 08 versys. What a great bike. They got it right with this one eh? I'm from frederick too - spent many a summer up there at the falls and the lake. Hiking at wolf rock, fishing in the creek. Great video!
