Ok, Ground Combat... have you ever played DS9:the Fallen. check it out. sure your can find some gameplay video out there. Mass effect 2 was awesome, wish sto was that awesome. Boffs are pretty lame. What't the point of the bridge if you can't do Anything there ??? and mini games.. how about st voyager elite force 2 with the rerout power mini game, i liked those.

Don't need more STFs; hard enough to find people for the STFs as is. Either nerf the STFs to help incentivize people to invest the long time to complete them or just focus on the UGC engine and let people make the content themselves. Should've included a a brief clip of that episode from VOY around 13:34. Why didn't you pick the two best ground weapons, iyo, and explain why? There's also the energy type differences that weren't covered. 3PS doesn't work because of personal shields/armor in STO.

DUDE, they totally need to make a mini-game in Sickbay to heal my injured BOFFs so I can do that while flying around in sector space to my next mission so that I can actually play this game on a more difficult setting without having to pay out the @&* to heal my crew! :X

Ground combat suggestion:

Make it more like "Battlefield" where you have vehicles(like the nemesis desert jeep), helicopter type aircrafts, or animals that you can ride like that thing from star wars..., turrets in random places like" press F to man the turret" and make the maps crazy like only mountain peeks over the clouds and you have to capture a stronghold to get a vehicle to fly to the next stronghold that is on the next peek...You wouldn't keep this stuff, it would already be on the map.

@sven2001 Oh, there you go again. ;) One of the reasons our view counts on this site appear low is because we use blip.tv's player on our homepage.  Our overall views have been steadily increasing.

I look at STO, and all the problems it has with copyright issues to use Star Trek's characters, and I see why this game will never live up to its potential. Then I look at Star Wars: The Old Republic, and I see what STO should have been. Star Trek Online is a failure and will die off as soon as TOR comes out.

I've been a Trek fan all my life, and it kills me that this game has turned out to be so shallow and repetitive. I beta tested STO for almost half a year, and did everything I could to help make the game better. What did you do to help STO?

I reported bugs and errors as well as anyone, although i could not get an invite for the beta and do any hands on help for STO I don't sit here beating it down and automatically assuming TOR will beat it down and that they should just stop trying.
