SEARS is having hard time selling “extended warranties” and “protection agreements” to Quebec residents, as they are one of the best educated against consumer fraud thanks to consumer protection TV shows on the French channels.
DO NOT BUY:

Protection agreements from SEARS
They’re worthless; they’re not worth the papers that they printed on
If you google "sears sucks", you will get dozens of websites featuring countless horror stories of customer disservice, lousy product quality, questionable business ethics, boorish employee behavior, and promises to never ever ever buy from sears again ever EVER! Now google "sears is great" or "I like sears" or anything positive like that and you get NOTHING!
@TojoPanther I've seen so many complaints about Sears, it's scary. But I will Google 'I like Sears' just for the fun of it. I suspect you're right. They really abuse their customers and it will eventually catch up with them.
i work for sears im a roofer they sale nothing bout crap they sale 20sq jobs for $12,000 and only spen $2,000 on all the material and y only get pay $55 for sq $1,100 for a 1 day job and and how keeps the other $8,900
@Keebird2 You are not alone.I am a private contractor in home renos and repairs but do not do roofs, over the years i have been called on for my opinion on way too many botched roofing job contracted out by Sears, and all too often been called into battle with my customers against Sears. About 1/3 of the issues were passed on to the contractor then to the manufacturer then back to Sears and around again and again and again.
The other 2/3 of the issues were blamed on lack of ventilation.
You are bang on with that. This is absolutely sickening. When I took it to the BBB (they're totally useless) the installation manager simply lied his way through it.....lied to Customer Service, who passed the lie to BBB, on and on.....
You can help by passing this to everybody you can. The public needs to know about this cr*p

Unbelieveable !!! But a picture is worth a thousand words. I was about to make a major purchase with them but after seeing this, absolutly not ! I have (at last count - 863 members in my group and i must pass this YouTube video on as there has been some discussion by some about some similar work they wanted to have done this spring/summer.

I have bought from Sears for over ten years, but I won't be going back if this is what they do to their customers. And I surely will not have any work on my home done by them! Why would I take that chance?

I make it a point to tell ALL my customers ANYWHERE but sears, ANYWHERE!!!!!!!

Which if it actually had a F in 2010 would be a rather large jump in rating.
Sears Home Services doesn't have a rating with the BBB it shows no complaints.
Sears Holdings with Owns all of the Sears related business' has the A-
So where was your information from exactly?
