Hi, that is a lovely well engineered hovercraft!It is still funny reading the other comments especially as Hovercrafts have been on active service doing brilliant tasks for many many decades and more.They are improving i see with new ideas!

Hovercrafts are junk, for the price you can buy a brand new quad, jet ski, and snow mobile, and a used trailer. All are faster, and more reliable. Don't believe me, Brand New Yamaha, 2011 Grizzly 700 FI Auto. 4x4 EPS $9500, Yamaha, 2011 Phazer RTX, $8500, Yamaha, 2010 VX Cruiser, $9000, This Hovercraft starts at $30,000 what a joke!

That is a myth. Ivanoff Hovercraft AB has been manufactering petrol powered hovercrafts for many many years with no problem. Why should hovercrafts have more problems than boats with petrol engines. Besides, a diesel engine is much heavier so you lose "payload". These hovercrafts (BBV-6 and IH-6) are sold worldwide. As you live in the U.K. can check with Burnham-On-Sea about their recue hovercrafts.
