I do agree that manny is great but i wouldn't say greatest. at hitting, he's just plain amazing. but you also have to take into account fielding. babe was a good pitcher, then hit 714 hrs. maybe when you said that you were just talking about hitting and if you were, then yes, you van call him great but i dont think the greatest. theres also people like ted williams, hank aaron, and many others. with all of them though, manny has the best swing. (all of this came from a yankees fan)
