  • All we need is to move our ass. People move! Then eat what your body wants to eat and not more. But move! Even McD can be ok as long as you run or walk.

    Try to persuade friends to go out together, I mean for running, jogging, walking.

  • thats all nice and well, but in todays hectic life preparing foods that spoil quickly is very very inconveinent. back when we we less evolved we looked at the food and said 'its good' so we ate it? not exactly, theres definitely poisonous wild food that is deadly to ingest, so that wasn't entirely accurate.

    I don't care if its a preservative, I'll eat whatever the hell I want and counter-balance with vitamins suppliments and some vegetables here and there..fruit too..

    I'm a first-year med student and I made a video in answer to the questions, is pink salt healthier than table salt that hopefully you will find helpful.

  • Lastly, unfortunately many Registered Dietitians need to hear this video's message as much as consumers. It's important to educate yourself on quality nutrition not simply count calories and use vague terms like moderation and balance as excuses for eating poor quality food. If health was simply about counting calories, then why do our hormone levels drastically change trying to get to homeostasis when we put food in our bodies that it was not meant to eat?

    Yes, your body does need salt.  It is vital to your health to maintain a proper Sodium to Potassium balance. However, there is a HUGE difference between standard table salt (which puts tremendous stress on your kidneys and adrenals) and pristine sea salts like pink salt.

  • I have to say, this is just more fad type diet jarrgon, I am a student in a diadatic dietetics course and well on my way to becoming a RD. Some people should consume less salt than others, but salt is not poision. Any diet plan that sought to eliminate salt would so restrictive that serious nutritional defiencies would arise. There are no miracle products (i.g. pink salt) or quick fixes (i.g. if it spoils) its a matter of balance and portion.

  • He is well known in Southern Cal. He is on Fox news when they need a fitness expert, etc. I know that he has his own protein powder, and I think he personal trains a bunch of celebrities.

  • I do not like the way how to try to manipulate people. For example the thing that salt is the worst thing in the world, which I see as a lie. For example animals without getting salt into their body are dying. From where do you have such a great knowledge about humans body, that you can make such sure statements?
