aluminum doesnt break every time you hit something. i've broken everything around the rotors and after i got the aluminum parts, i havent had to deal with any more broken parts

@Flap1987 the aluminum swashplate provides stiffer control. Even though it's a beginner heli, it makes it much more responsive.

I am expecting my upgraded CX2 with aluminum head and 2 LiPo batteries on Tuesday from an eBay auction as well. Is there anything that surprised you within the first few flights that I should know about? After spending all of my "flying" time on a Great Planes G3.5 Simulater, I have yet to face the physical qualities of this bird.

when are you goin to get the aluminum upgrades? If you do that will make your helicopter a whole lot cooler then what you should do is, if you want, get a lighting system.

Hey Buddy, I love that tail boom you have, could you send me some info on how to get that? You said you were on the 3rd or 4th hole on the servos now, it really makes a differance when flying outside.If you decide to upgrade to the other Heli try to learn on the simulater first because they fly completly different. Your Heli looks great and when you get the rest of the upgrades I think you will like it even more. Later Man, have fun

thanks! sry about this but i am not 100% sure what the name of the seller was that i got the tail boom from.. you can start out buy typing "blade cx2 tail boom" onto ebay because thats where i got it.. all i know is the the company that made the tail boom starts with a "v". sry that i can rember.. hope this helps!

whats up man, nice set up. For faster speeds you can move the servo arm up a hole. If you do this it may cause blade strikes but if you let of the foward movement and turn without pushing foward it should stop blade strikes. nice helecopter my brother has the same on e with that police kit for his birth day and the the extended tail thing did yours start out red or yellow ours started out red
