Especially if the singer is a MAN..lol That is just ridiculous. Adam as a soprano has a beautiful voice. But Kris as a tenor with his unique diction and rifts is absolutely awesome. I'm amazed at how Adam can sound so similar to the way he did in the upright cabaret. I don't know when that was, but I would guess a few years ago. Not that's it's boring or anything! This was a whole different version of the song. Just that he nailed all of those notes that I love so much from the old version. :)
Kris sounds HORRIBLE, Adam comes to smooth things out and save the song. There is such a difference in the professionalism in their voices and Adam has something. Kris sounds a little bit worse than me at karaoke.

They both sang it great but Adam's voice is so much superior than Kris and he tried to hold back his big high notes cause he has sang this before and he could have blown Kris out of the water but yea he chose not to but when each time they sing together its always shows who's the better singer which is Adam and by allot!, but they both did great.

Judging from what I've seen the experts say (the old DDD forums), Freddie had a bigger range.
Adam himself has always said Freddie's voice is a legend he won't touch.

My CD-collection is pretty eclectic too, from David Sylvian & Coldplay via Elbow, Abba and W/Temptation (are you Dutch too, perhaps?) to Sia, Nik Kershaw, Noa & Justin Timberlake. There’s a song there for every mood and occasion and I love it like that. Why diss one artist just because you like another one better?

they're so good i mean not good they're are perfect and i love it how everything turned out because both of them released their albums and they are both amazing and it really doesn't matter who won because actually both are winners and they are always so breathtaking i really really like so much:D

They both sang it great but Adam's voice is so much superior than Kris and he tried to hold back his big high notes cause he has sang this before and he could have blown Kris out of the water but yea he chose not to but when each time they sing together its always shows who's the better singer which is Adam and by allot!, but they both did great.

@johnphoenix17 Actually, he was holding back because acoustic performances are not where one normally belts out the high notes. Like the acoustic WLL Adam's been doing on tour.

@mannendobos Er, I don't think he has Freddie's lower range. And from what I heard on a vocal discussion board, Adam has 3+ octaves while Freddie had 4. Adam's said himself that Freddie is a legend you 'just don't touch,' lol.

@MsSharon1031 If you were referring to my Freddie Mercury comment - Adam's range may or may not be higher, but Freddie's went lower as well. If I can recall, Adam is something like a tenor - his voice is naturally high - whereas Freddie was a baritone who could hit very high notes despite that.
Judging from what I've seen the experts say (the old DDD forums), Freddie had a bigger range.
Adam himself has always said Freddie's voice is a legend he won't touch.

I can't believe all the hate comments. By the looks of the video Kris and Adam seem to get along wonderfully even with the difference of music preference. Why can't their fans just appreciate them for their talent. I adore both of them. Some people loves only one style of music, for me if you were to check my ipod you would see Within Temptation(gothic rock) to Supremes(oldies). I love reading other peoples views but is name calling really necessary?

Bravo, couldn’t agree more! My CD-collection is pretty eclectic too, from David Sylvian & Coldplay via Elbow, Abba and W/Temptation (are you Dutch too, perhaps?) to Sia, Nik Kershaw, Noa & Justin Timberlake. There’s a song there for every mood and occasion and I love it like that. Why diss one artist just because you like another one better?
This is a great performance by two fantastic voices. These two certainly have not given any occasion to their fans to go and insult each other.

Ha! Funny how folks can't face reality even when it's shoved down their throat! Fact Adam is going far, very far! While you continue on in that mundane, ho-hum daily job (if there is one) it's easier to bash others to make yourself feel better about your sad station in life. I'm a married mother of 3 (just in case you choose to throw the F bomb at me!) that doesn't mean I choose to be ignorant to true talent because I feel threatened by ones differing sexual preferences. I was looking for Original Track and stumbled ac cross this ..... face it people its a terrible cover.

Not many can compete with Adams vocal talent (if any in this era) so I hate to pass judgement BUT what idiot let this duo go on stage and let Adam be the secondary in a song he has already rip to shreds solo? I think 1+1=3 and a point is proven on who SHOULD have won AI but also who NEEDED to win for the publicity. Adam didn't need the promo. He gained his in the early days of AI if not well before.
When a star is born it's impossible to ignore.

Nice to be able to hear them! I haven't found a video with good sound from the NYC concert. I don't know if the acoustics were really bad, or if it just didn't record well. I'm definitely saving this one to my playlist!
