The acting is terrible. These people clearly had NO direction at all. You may have been able to get something at least feasible out of them if they had some proper direction.
You're set desisgn is appauling, too. There was clearly no effort made to make the location look good. Set design has nothing to do with money. You can have something look decent with no budget if you're just smart about it and take care over camera positions, props e.t.c. Same goes for Costume and Make-Up.

Your sound needs work too. Did you use a Boom Microphone for this? The sound has a very muffled and echo-like quality to it. The score is overblown and inappropriate for what you filmed too.

She needs to work on her delivery; one line just runs into the next with no emotion. Some vocal coaching is in order as well.
Hope the guy didn't quit his day job.
