  • i think incresing size of antenna (surface are) will have more effect than height of antenna

  • I think that your right about the height, in a way but I think that we need to cap the end off with a coil that stops the wave dead!

  • Well, if you are somehow tapping the static electrical potential of the earth, then higher is better.

    Don't quite remember where I read it, but the static electrical potential in the air will increase with 300 volts + - for every meter, the + - is because more moisture reduces the potential.

    And the size of the plate will probably decide how much charge you can collect at a given time.

    Just my thoughts anyway ;D

  • i believe you are making high voltage with low current. it was impossible to measure wat voltage is coming out. and i believe this is how it is working.

  • nicola tesla said high voltage makes the air super conductive. i believe this is how it is working.

  • I would agree but its only 200v+, just at tuned high frequency..

    Nikola Tesla is one on my heros, I have read a lot of his patents. My discoveries have lead me to believe that you need at least 10Kv to produce this via the air, I think that its tuned resonance that made this possible.

    Any thoughts are welcome though?

  • it is rather interesting. i think you would need to suspent this peice of alloy foil on some sort of non conducting to get a unbiased result from this. i think wat your sticking the aloy foil (antenna) onto is conducting to some extent.

  • Its a hard wood door, but I can suspend it on plastic if it makes you happy. Have already done it and it still works...

    I think wood conducts at a a very high voltage, any suggestions to rules out conductance?

  • the ultimate thing would be to put one side of the circuit into a sealed glass container. so that just 1 wire is going through the glass.

  • Thanks, I believe that the one wire can be swapped for the ground, so that it appears that it is wireless transmission of power but the earth is the conductor. I just need to find the correct frequency and as long as its touching the ground it can be lite up...

    The Possibilities are endless!
