To be honest with Allah is :

To Trust Him and Obey Him with Patience.

To Trust Him = Accept His "Qadar" (decisions, events of your life) about you.

To Obey Him = NOT TO DISOBEY HIM which is harder that obeying Him.

With Patience = to be patient during the Qadar and to be patience duriing the suffering because obeying Him means being attacked by the devils who want to hurt you with their tongues and hands.

First you have to assume there is a god. Then you have to assume god cares about humans. Then you have to assume it's the same god. then you have to assume that the god you pray to is the right god. Then you have to assume god want your prayers. Then you have to assume god is powerful in a way that can help you. Then you have to assume that by helping you god want be hurting someone else. Then you have to assume there's a reason god would help you when others don't get help. Etc. Etc.

Interesting points, sounds similar to how science progressed as well... first we assumed the world was flat until the Greeks and later Muslim scholars calculated its circumference. We assumed the universe was a static model, until we developed the technology to observe red/blue shift. Einstein's assumption of time dilation led him to his theories on relativity. One should never be arrogant, if anything science has taught us that...
