First off Pbat, use your q to last hit creeps in game. it helps a lot during the laning phase. second off USE your ARCANE BOOTS . just press it so that it refreshes gives you mana, oh and you dont have to walk back to base when low on health just BUY a TOWN SCROLL so that you can use it to teleport back base. AND the ITEMS in the SECRET SHOP are different from what items in the base are, so when you buy something and its on the stash that means its onthe base.wishigotdota2BETAkeyhopet­hishelps!

Oh and Pbat. It doesn't aggro the tower because that would make pushing OP. And way too easy. If you pull the creeps up behind the tower you can have their creeps kill your creeps and your enemy gets less XP. This game isn't as forgiving as LoL. Which I love.

But since I have played HoN for like, 2 years now Dota2 feels really slow.

You shouldn't use screen-lock on because this game is so competitive you have to constantly look on different parts of the map, in order to make proper choices. You should get used to it. Dota2 can make you extremely better at MOBA games because of its much more competitive than other MOBA games It will take a LONG time to learn every hero but when you do you have a big advantage and knowledge. ATM Dota1 is more competitive because of its full hero pool (cuz dota2 does not have all heroes yet).

If you want to be good at Zeus get creep kills with your ARC LIGHTNING till you farm 1.5k and get ARCANE BOOTS. Later get FORCE STAFF as an escape mechanism to keep yourself in and out of fights.

Starting items should be 1 MANTLE OF INTELLIGENCE (+3 int), 3 BRANCHES (+1 all attributes) 4 CLARITIES (100 non combat mana regen), 1 TANGO, 1 SALVE OF REGEN (non combat 400 hp heal)

Here are a few pointers!

You can deny your own creeps, aka kill your own minions so that the opposing heroes won't gain as much exp.

You can use your items, I didn't see you use them very much! Your Arcane Boots will regen you 125(?) mana for each use. Your Aghanim's Scepter when used on an enemy foe will cause them to be disabled for 2(?) seconds.

A few random tips:

1. At the start of the game you should buy the "starting items" from recommended list (not boots)

2. Use TP scrolls to teleport to towers or back to base.

3. Use active of your arcane boots to restore mana.

4. Magic Stick upgrades into Magic Wand, so you shouldn't have sold the stick to buy the wand.
