I would say in his defense on this vid here, it sounds a little flat b/c he's not projecting his voice very much.

As for those who are saying this should be a Hillsong United song instead of Tomlin, listen to them talk in this vid. With most of these worship artists, it's not about a Tomlin song, or a Redman song, or a HU song...as they did here, they often work together to compose music to lift up praise and worship to God. That's what it's about, not who gets to produce it and sell it.

@xaznguitaristx That's because there's a choir behind him, electric guitars, cymbal "shimmies" or whatever they're called, and basically more texturing of sound. This is more stripped down; that's why I think it seems like it has less feeling here.
