My favourite MSHB gig was @ Trumans Brewery London in 2002, Jarvis Cocker was ther and MSHB had some nice lookin women in it. Anyway they were stunning
@obakegadeso ...I fancied the bass player. She was playing a Steinberger bass. Wonder what happened to her? Oh christ Im going to dream about this song now, it is going thru my head over and over.... sometimes I think of you, out ther in the nite
I watched them live at Roskilde 2007... omg, I got the crowd going wild demanding an encore.. You have no idea how easy that is when the whole tent is full of drunk people. But it was bloody awesome!!
Agree! They sound like a Syd Barret song palyed by the Television Personalities with support from the brass band of your local Voluntary Fire Brigade. Great stuff indeed!
that bassoon is having such great fun!!

I love everything about the way this song is played!
I completely agree, it sounds SO earnest. If I had this guy playing this song in front of me.... I'd shed a tear.

I don't think so. The original version is from The Only Ones album 'Even Serpents Shine' (1979).
