I want Zack Snyder executed for what he did to "Watchmen."
Do you know he's even considering taking a shit all over my other favorite graphic novel, "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns?" Is he just going to ruin the reputation of every one of my favorite graphic novels? We need to stop him now, and kill him.
@R2R3L4 I politely disagree. Though they got the main story, the subtle nuances that were used in the comic couldn't be replicated in the film without it being too long. New viewers were confused while old ones felt the movie was little more than a step down. Alan Moore didn't want a movie made and they made the movie anyway. Changing the story, for whatever reason, was just another liberty taken without consent from Alan Moore.
@MrProminance1 well it wasn't Moore's decision he wasn't a sell-out , it was his companion Dave Gibbons ¬¬ he did sell-out, he had like half of the CR of the novel :( !
@R2R3L4 Dude if you mean it you have mental problems, Read the Damn novel then comment, it was totally miss-placed, the cutted ALL the sportive characters, they made up dialogs and scenes and made characters say dialogs form others like in the end ¬¬! when Laurie says "nothing ever ends" Dr M's dialog and she had no reason to say it! Alan Moore did a Master piece and Snyder well he did tried but it wasn't enough to explain the whole novel! it even mis interpretates the meaning of the novel!
@fsfsfsfsfsfsg I've read the novel dipshit, and all your complaints are the lamest nitpicks I've ever heard. The main story was captured flawlessly and all that was missing was the death scene of Hollis Mason and the tales of the black freighter which wasn't too much of a big deal. Also I thought they the ending in the movie was better and made more sense.
@R2R3L4 the whole movie was wrong I watched the movie a week ago and just before i finished reading the novel for 3th time (I'm reading it again) each time you find more details, what about the detectives interrogating Driberg about the rescue? Dr Manhattan wasn't working with Ozzy! The Whole story of Rorschach wasn't told , The Way Jon tells his story flashbacks and forwards, and back to the present again, they changed the meaning saying Ozzy was wrong! the "movie" was an attempt of summary!
@fsfsfsfsfsfsg Most of these are just nitpicks, and exactly when did they mention that Ozymandias was right in the novel in the first place? Basically the same dilemma, just the fact that Manhattan had even more of a reason to leave earth.
The whole Rorschach story was told, the only thing left out was the fact that he lived in an apartment and the even with the bullies wasn't exactly the same.
And so what if Manhattan didn't work with Ozy, it doesn't change the meaning of the concept.
@R2R3L4 Man, the supportive characters, ALL of them, and all of them were necessary, it was like a summary of the novel... nothing in the novel is just something that you can say "bah, this is totally unnecessary" at least if you understood it.. and of course they NEVER say who's wrong or right and thats what pissed me off because in the movie they try 'd to and I'm not saying he was right but he did brought peace! I'm not saying he was right, but can you say he was wrong?
@Fudgaboutit hahaha calm down he isn't a bad director, but there just wasn't enough time to explain the whole novel, I think it would have been a lot better if they made it by parts, they could have given us what we really want! the novel translated to the Big Screen in a Live Action! and because of that he made up stuff, and got everything entangled!
Rorschach actually looks better in this than he did in the film. One of the main themes of the novel that was ignored in the film is that these are real people. In the book you don't notice the unmasked Rorschach at first, behind the mask he's just some guy. In the movie they did a good job of capturing the look of the character on a superficial level, but he stood out too much. In this, he just looks like some guy on the street, he's no one in particular.
This is hilarious. I hate Zach Snyder and LOVE Alan Moore but this is so funny, I think even Alan would enjoy it.

lol I didn't hate the movie. But trying to create a sequel out of it would probably be an abomination.

That... that's actually a damn good Alan Moore impression.

the sad true is that Snyder didn't needed to be sabotaged by anyone to make a bad Watchmen movie!

Are you kidding me..?
The Watchmen couldn't have been more loyal to the graphic novel...
It even had a better ending.
