i think that they are doing an EXCELLENT job for a middle school. high schools and colleges play this song, and they, in my opinion sound great. they are pulling this off better than some of the high schools ive heard

haha well its just the camera haha..and this song is perfect for a middle school. this year my school played a longford legend, paha i got the alto sax solos in the 2nd and 3rd movement.:))

yeah my middle school band last year got 9th in state...trumpets are like super out of tune..but yeah this wasnt to great:P the groove was alright but just for like the first measure

this is sad because the band i am in played a whole lot better. first the baritone at the part before the tubas camer in stunk. second tubas rushed at their solo. besides that i still think just sight reading we could do a whole lot better

My band played it alot faster on our UIL compitition.

We got all ones on all the 3 pieces(Heavan's light,Summer Dances,Circus Days)and on sight reading.

We got sweepstakes.

Don't believe me then google it!

played this the summer after my 7th grade year. It's fairly easy, but sounds more difficult and sounds awesome anyway. Some friends and I are writing a wind ensemble piece, i might use this piece for inspiration and ideas and stuff. hahaha i'm watching the restless middle school percussionists that's hilarious. oboe sounds bad sorry.

Wow! This is amazing for middle school players! Sometimes sounded rushed, but this band is definitely high school caliber. They play as good as most schools around my area!
